A Standalone Extracta Utility for Translating Allegro Database

You  may get reference layouts in Allegro database. However you havn't Allegro or up-to-data version to translate it into Hypelynx.

Below is a standalone extracta utility for translating Allegro database( donwload link see below)

Install and usage(suppose a directory  C:\Cadence be created)

1) Create a directory named as Cadence

2) upzip it to \Cadence (just remane SPB_16.6YU to SPB_16.6)

3) create following environment viaribles

set CDSROOT=C:\Cadence\SPB_16.6

set CHDL_LIB_INST_DIR=%CDSROOT%

set CONCEPT_INST_DIR=%CDSROOT%

set ALLEGRO_LONG_PACKAGE_NAME

set PATH=%PATH%;%CDSROOT%\bin;%CDSROOT%\tools\pcb\bin

If extracta can't invoked successfully, please check above settings. Sometimes, you may have to instal MVC runtimes(SPB_16.6\tools\msbase).
